The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level Entrance Examination for admission to management programmes in the country. MAT is conducted by the All India management Association which provides admission to many business schools across the country.
The all India management Association (AIMA) organies the MAT ; which take place in February , May , September and December each year . The exam is administered in three different formats : computer based test ( CBT) , Paper based test ( PBT) and internet based test (IBT) .
Eligibility for MAT
The candidates aspiring to appear for the MAT Exam must qualify the basic MAT eligibility criteria.
The MAT eligibility criteria are as following.
- Candidate should have completed graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation students awaiting their result are also eligible to apply for MAT.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the MAT exam.
EXAM PATTERN
The MAT 2024 exam will have 200 questions divided into 5 section of 40 questions each. A total 150 minutes will be given to students to finish the paper with no sectional time limits. Students can strategically divide their time between sections to boosts their scores.
